The Still Point
A leap of creativity, a new honest beginning and a new way to connect.
I am an early-career clinical psychologist, and this Substack is a space I have long wanted to create and start. It feels both slightly out of my comfort zone and deeply aligned, like stepping into something I have been circling around for some time now.
I am writing from the intersection of science, soul, and the beauty of being human. Mental health is the lens, but the heart of this space is connection, reflection, and truth.
What you will find here
This newsletter is a blend of my two worlds:
Grounded, evidence-based mental health insights, written in a clear, human way that makes psychology more accessible.
Honest reflections, thoughts on life, emotions, purpose, and being a person, myself in progress.
Some posts will be more clinical and educational, sharing tools, concepts, and ideas from my training and professional experience. Others will be personal and reflective, where I’ll write freely from emotion, experience, and curiosity.
Both are equally true to who I am, and both, I hope will open up something meaningful for you.
The Why
I have always been passionate about what it means to be human and the depth of the human experience, but more than that, I am passionate about what helps us live with more authenticity, with clarity, and from love, with love.
There is so much information about mental health out there. But not always enough space to talk honestly about the inner world, the parts we hide, the questions we carry, the pain that does not have a name yet.
My hope is to meet you wherever you are and offer something thoughtful, nourishing, and useful. Maybe a moment of insight. Maybe a small exhale. Maybe the reminder that you are not alone.
Let’s Grow This Together
I want this to be more than just a place for me to write. I want it to be a place where conversation happens, where growth is shared, and where you can find pieces of yourself reflected.
Whether you are here to learn, reflect, or just feel a little more connected, I am so glad you have found your way here.
Thank you.
Thierry
